” Nice, quiet property short walk to the beach “ September 12, 2013

Great staff, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Very clean.

Newer towels and linen would be a nice update, but it wasn’t something I’d complain about.
A leisurely 10 minute stroll to the beach, and the path along the beach to the markets, bars and restaurants along the beachfront. Rent bicycles too!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 8 nights in August. Chose it based on the fact it was half the price of most beach-front hotels around the corner. That was a good choice. The staff are all lovely. Nice small sized property, not packed full of rowdy tourists like some hotels. The rooms are basic in amenity, but they offered a travel power adapter and hair dryer on request. The bed was huge. The towels and linen were a little bit older than some hotels I’ve stayed at, but the bottom line was that everything was nice and clean and comfortable. Don’t be put-off by the laneway where it is located, where there can sometimes be rubbish left in the lane (like a lot of places in Indonesia), it’s worth it for the quiet and privacy. The breakfast options (Continental, American or Indonesian) were a little small in serving size (I’m a hungry guy), but it was tasty. I supplemented it with a banana pancake (only about AUD$3.50) every morning – Delicious!
