intimate atmosphere.

Time to upgrade the televisions, bath and beach towles.
Away from the main restaurant area of Sanur but only a cheap taxi ride away or nice walk along the beachfront
This is the second time we have stayed at the Mentari and would definitely stay at this property again. This was a family holiday to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. Our party ranged in age from 21 to 70 years. This is the Bali experience we remember from our first visits in the 1980’s. If you want to visit Bali without feeling like you are in Bali then this isn’t the property for you. The gardens are beautifully maintained. The rooms are more than adequate and the little restaurant is a great place to start your day. This is an intimate property and it is great to be able to go from room to pool to restaurant without walking for miles. After busy days on the streets of Bali this property is a welcome haven. To enter the property you must go down a laneway but this never caused any of us any problems. To get to the beachfront and markets we walked through the Bali Beach Hotel as the entry to this property is opposite the laneway to the Mentari. This is a pleasant walk
under shadey trees and even pathways. Once on the beach we walked down to the Santrian hotel and walked through this property to get to the main restaurant area.
To improve this property we would like to see new tv’s and bath/beach towels. NO big deal however.
